Our Mission:
Her Rising Initiative is a youth-led 501(c)3 nonprofit organization helping women and youth rise into leadership. Through event programming, curricula, and chapters -- we are working to close the opportunity gap for girls.
President:
Cherie founded Her Rising at 16 years old after being tired of seeing the same image of what leadership looked like. Cherie is currently a sophomore at Cornell University studying Public Policy and Government. She is passionate about advancing policy to better the lives of youth and marginalized communities. Cherie was a speaker at the 2024 White House Youth Policy Summit and has led numerous projects to increase youth engagement in policy and leadership.

Statewide event offering free workshops in STEM, social sciences, and business to middle school + high school girls.
Afterschool clubs introducing girls to policy, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.
